Rental Terms
Your rental period begins at the date and time of vehicle pickup listed on your rental agreement and ends once the vehicle is returned and all terms of the agreement are fulfilled.
If you need to extend or shorten your rental, please contact us as soon as possible — changes are subject to approval and availability.
Vehicle Use
All rentals must be used responsibly and in accordance with local and state laws. Vehicles may only be operated by the renter and any approved additional drivers listed in the contract.
Vehicles are for personal or standard business use only.
No racing, drifting, or participation in competitive events.
Vehicles may not be used for rideshare, delivery, or any paid driving services.
Driving is limited to approved areas; out-of-state travel must be discussed and approved prior to rental.
Renters must hold a valid driver’s license and be at least the minimum age required by state law.
Mileage & Fuel
Each vehicle includes a set daily mileage limit, which varies by model. Additional mileage will incur a surcharge as listed in your rental agreement.
All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup. Additional fuel charges may apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.
Condition & Responsibility
Renters are responsible for the vehicle and all included accessories during the rental period. Please return the vehicle in the same clean and undamaged condition it was provided.
Any damage, smoking, or excessive dirt inside the vehicle may result in additional cleaning or repair fees.
Report any accidents or issues immediately to Raleigh Prestige Rentals.
Deposits & Payments
A security deposit may be required before pickup. This deposit will be refunded after the vehicle is inspected and cleared for damages or policy violations.
Late returns without prior notice may result in additional charges.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup may result in a cancellation fee. Refunds are processed based on the terms outlined in your rental agreement.
Liability
Raleigh Prestige Rentals is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle. Renters are liable for any damage to the rental vehicle during the rental term unless otherwise stated in the agreement.
Privacy & Data Policy
Information We Collect
When booking or inquiring about a rental, we may collect personal information such as:
Name, email address, phone number, and home address
Driver’s license and photo identification
Payment information (processed securely through third-party platforms)
Vehicle preferences, booking dates, and related communication
How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used only for legitimate business purposes, including:
Verifying driver eligibility and completing rental agreements
Processing payments, deposits, and refunds
Communicating about bookings, extensions, or updates
Maintaining records for insurance, safety, and compliance purposes
Improving our rental process and customer experience
We never sell or share your information with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes. Information may only be shared with trusted partners (such as insurance providers, payment processors, or law enforcement when legally required).
Data Protection
We take data privacy seriously.
Personal and payment information is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.
Any digital documents (such as driver’s license uploads or signed rental agreements) are encrypted and stored on secure platforms.
Payment details are processed through verified, PCI-compliant providers — we do not store full card information on our servers.
Retention & Deletion
We retain rental records only as long as necessary to comply with legal, tax, and insurance requirements.
If you wish to have your personal data deleted after your rental period, you can email us at book@raleighprestigerentals.com and we’ll handle it promptly (unless records must be kept for compliance reasons).
